  • MI batted first and scored 182 runs on the back of handy contributions by Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma.

 Jasprit Bumrah 5/10 – MI – 2022

  • Jasprit Bumrah was at the top of his game when he picked up five wickets for just ten runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 9th May, 2022.
  • Despite Jasprit Bumrah picking up five wickets, KKR managed to post 165 runs. Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Nitish Rana, and Rinku Singh played crucial knocks and ensured that KKR posted over 160 runs.
  • In reply, MI was bowled out for just 113 runs, losing the match by 52 runs.

  • During the chase, MI was rocked back by an exceptional bowling performance by Mohit Sharma, who picked up five wickets, bundling out MI for just 171 runs.

 Ishant Sharma 5/12 – DC – 2011

  • Ishant Sharma had a night to remember when he picked up five wickets for just 12 runs against the Kochi Tuskers Kerala on 27th April, 2011.
  • Batting first, the Deccan Chargers (DC) scored 129 runs, as Kumar Sangakkara scored a quick half-century.
  • Chasing a moderate total, the Kochi Tuskers Kerala innings never got going, and the team was bowled out for just 74 runs, losing the match by 55 runs. Ishant Sharma bowled with great control and ran through the Kochi Tuskers Kerala batting lineup, picking up five wickets.
  • Ishant Sharma, for his fiery spell of 5/12, was named the player of the match.
